Effortless Sous Vida Cookbook was an exciting read for me because I am completely knew to this concept. I learned a ton with the author's tips. I feel a little closer to becoming a professional chef! lol But honestly, I was also very interested to hear how a bluetooth connection can also be applied to this method of cooking! I really valued so much in the book like the tips section. I would have made this process harder on myself if I didn't know about the simple hacks to make this cooking method go smoothly. Who knew that ping pong balls could come in handy? I feel like the author included everything you need to know about this topic. Can I say wow??? I liked the book already but once I got to the recipe section I saw one of my favorite non so well known flavors in the recipe for "Spicy Citrusy Aji Amarillo chicken wings" I loved the book! The book actually made my day when I say that section! lol I love Peruvian food! The other recipes were mostly good in my opinion. I would recommend only asking the reader once for a review so it doesn't come across as annoying at the end of the book.

When it comes to the kitchen. There are two things that interest me. Cooking and appliances. This cookbook covers both of them for me. Different methods of preparing foods are something I constantly seek. This new age device has the makings of something special. The simplicity in which the book describes its operation, is intriguing beyond measure. When I cook, I usually have a system on multi-tasking. Often I have to continue to check my meats. But this Sous Vide, tell me I can prep it as required, walk away from it, and use my phone to work it. Talk about amazing. The recipe they have in there for Honey Garlic wings, is the first thing I will try when I purchase it. And I will be purchasing it. The cookbook is easy enough to follow. And the recipe choices are appealing.

This book is shockingly bad. The author, who is apparently a chef, has recipes for sous vide tuna under the heading of "poached salmon with basil butter." And get this: "and when all the errands out, seal the the rest of the bag." Or this: "when ;the food is done, you have the option of hearing it to get a nice crunchy crust . ." Or this from the back cover of the book: Our chef's show you restaurant style techniques . . ." Really now! On top of this, the recipes are poorly presented and dull. I think this is without question the worst cookbook that I have ever seen published. Amazon should not be selling this book.

There's nothing much in this book one can't easily find by surfing a few web pages.

I have not purchased this book because, after reading some of it in the preview, I know all the grammatical and spelling errors will drive me crazy. Some were so bad as to make it difficult to understand what they were trying to say. Check out number 5 under Tips & Tricks.

Can't wait to try them after I buy the immersion cooker.. This Will be the easiest way to cook food
