Very informative and appreciated. I work odd hours and when I can go kayaking, most everybody else is either at work or asleep so I don't have many people to ask about places to put in and take out etc. This book gives that information and much more helpful tips and topics such as which waterways I might be interested in and where they are.

Just getting into kayaking can be daunting. One of the main problems is knowing where to go, what to watch out for, and things like that. Well I found this book very informative. I have tried several of the river sections it mentioned and found it very accurate. Hopefully I will be able to make many more trips, but know I will be reading this book about the river section before I even start to scout out a spot.

An excellent guide to all of Georgia's wonderful waterways--from mountain streams to lowland swamps. Detailed directions to the put-in, and accurate information about the river at all water conditions. As an open-boat canoeist who likes to run rapids, I have yet to find anything about this book I don't like. Whitewater kayak aficionados might be looking for even more detailed river info, but I have never found it wanting.

I purchased this book to use as part of my pre-planning for paddle trips on rivers and creeks in Georgia my son and I have not visited. It is very informative and something I consider a must before venturing down an unknown stretch of water without a the knowledge or experience of a local.

Good information. We hope to use it for a few trips.

This book has enough detail and information to be really useful in planning your paddling trips. I highly recommend it!
